Korean-American Anthony Kim took home his third PGA tour title at the Shell Houston Open in Texas on Sunday (local time).

It wasn't an easy win as the 25-year-old was jockeying for the lead with U.S. golfer Vaughn Taylor in a fierce final round at the Redstone Golf Club.

Kim began the back nine of his final round sharing a 54-hole lead with American Bryce Molder at 10 under par.

On the final hole, however, Kim missed a 6-foot par putt, tying him with Taylor at 12-under 276 and forcing a sudden-death play-off.

As the two rivals replayed the 18th hole, Kim held his nerve to play the par-four hole to perfection while Taylor found himself in one bunker after another, finally failing to hole out.

Kim clinched two victories in 2008 but recently had been struggling with injuries and inconsistent play.
